The gala will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at The Commercial Club in Salt Lake City, offering an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and impact.
This black-tie event will feature a New Orleans-style dining experience, handcrafted mocktails and cocktails, themed music, a special guest speaker, and exclusive live and silent auctions. Guests will also enjoy an opportunity to draw and interactive fundraising activitiesall benefitting Habitat for Humanitys mission to build homes, communities, and hope.
In addition to the festivities, Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake will present two prestigious awards:
- The Community Builder Award will be presented to Bhava Title Insurance Agency, accepted by Brooke Adair, in recognition of their steadfast commitment to supporting Habitat families through every step of the homebuying journey. Their partnership has helped ensure hundreds of smooth, successful closings and lasting community impact.
- The inaugural Carter Legacy Award will honor Lyn Felton, a longtime volunteer, advocate, and friend of Habitat. This award, named in tribute to President Jimmy Carters legacy of humanitarian service, celebrates individuals who have gone above and beyond in advancing Habitats mission. Lyns leadership, heart, and decades of hands-on dedication have helped build more than homestheyve built hope.
With housing costs rising and the need for affordable, safe homes growing every day, this gala is more than a partyits a call to action, said Carin Crowe, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake. Since its founding, Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake has empowered over 440 individuals to achieve homeownership, provided critical home repairs to over 1,000 residents, and removed more than 6,000 tons of yard wastesignificantly improving health, safety, and stability for families across the region.
Supporters can get involved by purchasing tickets, becoming sponsors, or donating auction items. Sponsorships offer businesses a powerful way to demonstrate their commitment to community impact while enjoying premier recognition at the event.
