Born and raised in Montana, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in 1994, and later completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) in 2009. He also holds a Certificate in Public Health and has served as adjunct faculty at ASDOHs Special Needs Clinic since 2024.
Dr. Eckman served as a Combat Medic in the United States Army and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal. His professional affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society).
Outside of the office, Dr. Eckman enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife, Vanessa, and their two children. Together, they love visiting and hiking through U.S. National Parks.
