About the Author

Terrence D. Sims is a dynamic Christian leader, speaker, and theologian with a ministry rooted in justice, compassion, and transformation. Ordained within the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Sims has served faithfully since 2001 and most recently pastored Bethel AME Church of Fontana, where his leadership inspired spiritual and numerical growth from 2021 to 2025.

Holding a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary (2023), Sims received the Philip Wendell Crannell Award for Excellence in Preaching. Beyond the pulpit, he brings more than 30 years of corporate experience as a business executive and consultant, advocating for equity and dignity across social systems.

In October 2025, Sims founded Eyes WIDE Open Christian Church, an extension of his vision for a spiritually liberated and socially conscious faith community.
